NAFTA Fresh Salad

Here are some special organic greens from south of the border, coming into California on those unregulated “free trade” 18-wheelers. If you will look closely at this package, just below the words “Fresco, Lavado”…




…yes, that’s right. It’s a frog. You see, the polluted water used by Mexican companies to wash their lettuce contains polliwogs (and lots of other “stuff”), and of course, these wogs morph into fresh little froggies, right in the package. So if you're looking for salad fixins with a little more zest, insist on the “Florette” brand.
