Like an undisciplined five year old child who is always trying to get away with
something the instant you aren't paying attention, AGAIN they are trying to
sneak ANWR drilling into ANOTHER Senate bill.
On Thursday, March 16, the Senate will be confronted with an amendment to the
Senate budget bill to allow invasion of the Alaska National Wildlife Refuge.
Again we must tell them, NO MEANS NO!

While they muzzle their own scientists who warn that we may already be past the
tipping point of a planetary climate catastrophe, the latest news is that the
Arctic sea ice pack has failed to re-form for the second year in a row. The
latest report is that carbon dioxide levels in the atmosphere have hit another
new record. And at the same time just this week was the most massive pipeline
oil spill ever, covering two acres of fragile tundra, which is not what we would
call a "small" footprint.
