Save Washington's Environment!

Action Alert

No on I 933!

Have you seen it?

In August we sent you an email telling you about I 933's dangerous assault on our environment and farmland. We've released a new ad and hope that you have seen it!

Missed it? See the ad now at: http://www.NOon933.org

I-933's DANGEROUS ASSAULT ON OUR ENVIRONMENT AND FARMLAND

I-933 is one of the most dangerous assaults on conservation and environmental protection ever in Washington State. Its hidden consequences and loopholes would kick open the door for irresponsible over-development, pollution, and costly environmental neglect in Washington's communities.

One of I-933's worst consequences will be on local farmers and farmland. I-933 opens up farmland to mega-housing developments and strip mails. That's why I-933 is opposed by dozens of local conservation, environmental, and farmer organizations, including:

SaveOurEnvironment.org
The Washington Environmental Council
Washington Conservation Voters
The Nature Conservancy
The Sierra Club
Audubon Washington
The League of Conservation Voters
The American Lung Association
Cascade Land Conservancy
The National Wildlife Federation
People for Puget Sound
The Mountaineers
The Blue-Green Alliance
The League of Women Voters
Farms Northwest, Inc.
Skagitonians to Preserve Farmland
United Farm Workers
Washington Trust for Historic Preservation

WE NEED YOU TO VOLUNTEER TODAY!

To win on November 7, we are putting together a strong volunteer effort — but we can't do it without your help. We need volunteers to make phone calls, talk to their neighbors, post yard signs, write letters to the editor, and make sure conservation voters get to the polls and vote. There are a lot of ways to get involved and help us win at http://noon933.org/get_involved/index.php.

DON'T SIT THIS ONE OUT!

However you can help, whatever time you can give, it will make a huge difference. Click here to get involved today!

Thank you for supporting conservation and Washington's environment!

Sincerely,

Julie Waterman
