I believe this to be one of the most important issues of our time. When I was with the San Diego Review (about 15 years ago) one of our writers, Elise Blackwell regularly featured articles under the heading, "The Politics of Food." After viewing this video, you'll see what was warned about back then has unfortunately became our reality and is now in our food supply. According to the documentary, 70% of our food supply is now contaminated with GMO's (Genetically Modified Organisms). March 11, 2008 a documentary- The World According To Monsanto- was aired on French television (a documentary that Americans won't ever see) by French journalist and film maker Marie-Monique Robin which explored the gigantic biotech corporation Monsanto and how it is threatening to destroy the agricultural biodiversity which has served mankind for thousands of years.
