We're pleased to announce that the second annual Nation/Campus Progress Student Journalism Conference will take place on Monday, June 25 in Washington, DC.
Student journalists from across the country will come together for one day full of workshops, panels, seminars, conversations and parties. The event is hosted by Nation editor Katrina vanden Heuvel and Campus Progress director David Halperin and will feature Nation writers including Barbara Ehrenreich, David Corn, John Nichols, Laura Flanders, Roberto Lovato and Ari Berman, among many other special guests.
Topics will range from covering corruption and reporting on the environment to sessions on muckraking, blogging and writing about the law and national security. The conference is entirely free, including food. Travel grants to DC are also available. Both undergraduate and graduate students are eligible to apply, but space is limited, so don't wait!
Applications are being accepted on a rolling basis until June 6th. Click here to apply and for more info, and please pass this note on to anyone you think may be interested.
