New Election Website

I received this from these folks..........never heard of them and didn't realize that I was a "leading political blogger" !!!!!!!!.............LOL............but the concept sounds interesting.........so I'm going to check it out and thought I'd throw it out there and let others check it out too..........Let us know what you think...........PEACE...........Scott

I really appreciate the work that you do as a leading political blogger. Given your publishing success and the strong following you have I wanted to get your opinion on an election website (www.select2008.com) that my friends and I created. We (humbly) think that there is nothing like it in the political landscape today.

The website was created for the 2008 presidential elections and helps voters select their top candidates based on candidates' proposals and positions. We built it because we wanted to create a powerful tool to help democracy work better. It is completely non-partisan.

You can check it out at www.select2008.com.
Please take a look at it and give us your thoughts. Also, if you like it please feel free to write about it. We can answer any questions you have.

More info on Select2008: Select2008 helps select candidates for the 2008 Primaries and the Presidential election by answering well crafted questions on policy and programs. The site uses advanced analytics to ask the most relevant questions to zero in on a voters top candidate. We have a database of over 1,500 questions on policy and programs.

The results not only tell you who your favorite candidates are, but also how much in agreement you are with them issue by issue (such as the war in Iraq, healthcare, taxes, social issues, etc). You can also register and compare your position and results with your friends.

Sincerely,
Kimberly Liu
