Truthout's Matt Renner interviews Glen W. Smith on
the framing of Congress. Smith, a Senior Fellow at
the Rockridge Institute, explains how Congress has
allowed the media and conservatives to frame the
debate. Smith asserts the reason the Democrats are
afraid to take control of the occupation of Iraq is
a fear of backlash if the situation worsens. He goes
on to say he believes they are wrong, and explains
what he thinks they should do to re-frame the debate.
