REMEMBRANCE OF THINGS PAST:

We have lost a couple of very important and influential people recently. Eugene McCarthy was one and Richard Pryor the other. 25 years ago we lost John Lennon. Here are a couple of articles that look back at 2 of these 3. Check other posts on this blog for articles on Eugene McCarthy.

"Gene" was very influential in my life. He introduced me into national politics when he ran for President in 1968. I was only 17 and couldn't vote yet but that didn't stop me from getting out and campaigning for him.
