OUTLYING PRECINCTS

NATHAN RUDY, DAILY KOS - On September 26, 2001 - two weeks after the
worst attack on our mainland since the Civil War - Giuliani proposed
that he be able to hold on to his office for three more months. . .
There was no law that supported such an extension, no tradition that
offered it, no constitutional power that allowed it. Giuliani simply
thought that the law of his city, state and nation should be aborted for
his own personal glory.

HILLARY CLINTON claims she played pickup basketball when she was young,
presumably to get ready for her race against Obama. Newsmax has compiled
a list of other little known facts about HRC, an obscurity some feel is
due to their non-esistenc:

- She was named after Sir Edmund Hillary. who climbed Mount Everest.

- She was a Yankees fan when she lived in Chicago.

- She told upstate New Yorkers she had been a "duck hunter."

- She claimed on Sept. 11 daughter Chelsea was jogging around the World
Trade Center.

BEHIND THE BUSHES

ZOGBY - By a margin of 52 to 43 percent, citizens want Congress to
impeach President Bush if he wiretapped American citizens without a
judge's approval, according to a new poll commissioned by
Afterdowningstreet.org. . . 76 percent of Democrats favored impeachment,
compared to 50 percent of independents and 29 percent of Republicans.

those 18-29 favored impeachment, 51 percent of those 31-49, 50 percent
of those 50-64, and 42 percent of those older than 65. Among women, 56
percent favored impeachment, compared to 49 percent of men. Among
African Americans, 90 percent favored impeachment, compared to 67
percent of Hispanics, and 46 percent of whites.

ECOLOGY

Nevada Solar One, the largest solar thermal power plant built in 16
years, has gone online, and is now providing power to Nevada's
electrical grid. Built by Acciona Solar Power, the 64MW power plant is
the world's third largest solar thermal power plant, and will generate
enough reliable clean energy to power 15,000 homes. It covers 400 acres.

FURTHERMORE. . . .

A NEWS REPORT says that George Bush "drew gasps at the Vatican on
Saturday by referring to Pope Benedict XVI as 'sir' instead of the
expected 'His Holiness,' pool reporters said." In fact, that's just what
a president of the secular United States government should say and
infinitely preferable to the greeting used by the late Senator Olin
Johnson: "Your Popeship." But then Olin the Solon also once explained to
a reporter that "trees is our primary source of lumber."

A GREAT COLLECTION OF FBI SNOOPING on American citizens including a
letter from John Steinbeck to the Attorney General asking him to get the
FBI off his back.
