Since Rosie O'Donnell joined ABC's The View three months ago, the show's ratings have skyrocketed.

O'Donnell, an outspoken liberal, has been injecting the world's best-paid sewing circle with some good old fashioned liberal common sense, nearly pulling melting Elisabeth Hasselbeck's makeup along the way:

  • Rosie compares Apartheid to Patriot Act [VIDEO]
  • Rosie O'Donnell: Radical Christianity is just as threatening as Radical Islam [VIDEO]
  • Rosie argues guns on the View [VIDEO]

Not to toot my own horn, but shortly after O'Donnell joined the team I wrote this:

Rosie's at it again, debating gun violence stats on the View. The stats I can't wait to see are the ones involving the View's ratings since the addition of a sensible and outspoken liberal.

Our most popular story of the week looked at Keith Olbermann's success but the truth is, ratings and audience were never the issue.

One need only look at Phil Donahue, MSNBC's top rated show during the runup to the Iraq War, which was promptly cancelled due to the mistaken notion that patriotism is a synonym for cowardice.
