The people's voice must be heard
Don't allow the silencing of the anti-war movement
Dear T. Scott,
The government has fined us more than $12,000 as part of an effort to silence the March 21st March on the Pentagon. But the people are mobilizing. They are coming from 64 separate transportation centers in 20 states.
We have had a truly amazing response from thousands of people who rallied to our defense when ANSWER was hit with over $10,000 in fines for putting up anti-war posters for March 21st. We are receiving between $1000 and $2000 in fines every day now.

In spite of the obstacles, the enthusiasm for the March 21st March on the Pentagon is growing. The demonstration will be led by a large contingent of Iraq and Afghanistan war veterans, as well as veterans from other conflicts and military families.
Buses and car caravans are bringing people from the Arab and Muslim communities. Students are organizing from college campuses all over the East Coast, the South, and the Midwest.
Right now volunteers are constructing the hundreds of symbolic coffins that we will be delivering to the doorsteps of Lockheed Martin, Boeing and the other war profiteers. This will be the first national demonstration in Washington, DC in the post-Bush era. The people's voice will be heard loud and clear. We are organizing for jobs and education, health care and housing, rather than war and militarism.
We couldn't have done this without you and thousands of others who have shown their sacrifice and commitment.
Now in the last 72 hours before the demonstration, we must raise $23,000 to pay all the expenses associated with a successful national march in Washington. Please make a generous tax-deductible donation today by clicking this link.
