
I am writing to invite you to several forums on clean, publicly-financed elections to be held on January 4th, 5th, and 6th. As you know, publicly funded elections will help remove the influence of big money in politics and give the average citizen an equal voice.
The Washington Legislature is poised to consider and vote on a proposal to publicly fund judicial elections -- and the Governor has put funds in her recommended budget for this, suggesting this will be a "pilot project" for possible expansion in a future year to all statewide and legislative races!
We need to demonstrate public support for clean elections! Please attend the forums, which are sponsored by our Washington State partner, Washington Public Campaigns, and invite your family and friends!
