Ezra Klein pens a truly wise and penetrating analysis of the Bush presidency. Short version: he hates the American people.

I should add that Ezra's argument dovetails with a brilliant book I blurbed called Off-Center: The Republican Revolution and the Erosion of American Democracy. Here's what I said about it:
