BIG PHONIES BLOCKING FREE CONFERENCE CALLS

FREE CONFERENCE - As of Friday, March 9, it's come to our attention that
Cingular Wireless has begun blocking all conference calls made from
Cingular handsets to selected conference numbers. If you call our
service, you receive a recording that says, "This call is not allowed
from this number. Please dial 611 for customer service".

Earlier this week, Sprint and Qwest joined in this action, blocking
cellular and land line calls to these same numbers. This appears to be a
coordinated effort to force you to use the paid services they provide,
eliminating competition and blocking your right to use the conferencing
services that work best for you. . .

Whether you are one of their customers, or an organizer who is being
impacted by these uncompetitive actions, please file a complaint with
the FCC or send an email to your State Attorney General to complain
about this monopolistic practice to limit the choices of consumers.

You can also let these companies know how you feel about their attempt
to block competitive services:

Sprint Customers can click here or dial *2 from their Sprint Phone

Cingular Customers can click here or call 1-888-333-6651

Qwest Customers can click here or call 1-800-860-2255

RECORDING CORPORADOS SUE MAN WITH STROKE AND ONE WITHOUT COMPUTER

RECORDING INDUSTRY VS. PEOPLE - Although the defendant John Paladuk, an
employee of C&N Railroad for 36 years, was living in Florida at the time
of the alleged copyright infringement, and had notified the RIAA that he
had not engaged in any copyright infringement, and despite that the fact
that Mr. Paladuk suffered a stroke last year which resulted in complete
paralysis of his entire left side and severely impaired speech,
rendering him disabled, and despite the fact that his disability check
is his sole source of income, the RIAA commenced suit against him on
February 27, 2007.

AFTER DAWN - Recording Industry Association of America has made yet
another mistake in its war against file sharers. This time, the group
has sued the Walls family from Rockmart, GA. They are accused of sharing
music by Whitney Houston, TLC and Bob Seger. Considering the popularity
of the music, that sounds like it could be a valid charge by the RIAA -
if the family actually had any Internet access. . . or a computer for
that matter.

"I don't understand this," James Walls told his local paper, the
Rockmart Journal. "How can they sue us when we don't even have a
computer?" The confused family believes that the copyright infringement
must have been the work of their home's previous occupant, as they have
lived there for less than a year. It's not hard to believe however, as
the RIAA has in the past filed a lawsuit against a dead woman.

GREAT MOMENTS IN RIAA HYPOCRISY

MITCH BAINWOL & KATHY SHERMAN, RIAA - [The RIAA's war against
downloaders] is about a generation of music fans. College students used
to be the music industry's best customers. Now, finding a record store
still in business anywhere near a campus is a difficult assignment at
best. It's not just the loss of current sales that concerns us, but the
habits formed in college that will stay with these students for a
lifetime. This is a teachable moment - an opportunity to educate these
particular students about the importance of music in their lives and the
importance of respecting and valuing music as intellectual property.

BOING BOING - The people who created sex, drugs and rock and roll, who
glorified thug life and guns, are suddenly all concerned with the moral
character of America's teens. That's about as credible as the idea that
they're really worried about musicians' fortunes.
