This weekend, RadioNation with Laura Flanders will be broadcasting live from Salt Lake City with proof positive that progressive change is happening in this ultra-red state. Broadcasting from Salt Lake's venerable public library, Laura will be joined by the city's progressive Mayor Rocky Armstrong, Lorna Vogt of the Utah Progressive Network, Fran Pruyn and Jerry Rapier of the GLBT Community Center of Utah and Chris Johnson from Equality Utah. This weekend's shows will also feature commentary from Nation film critic Stuart Klawans and TomDispatch contributor Chip Ward.
And all Utah Nation readers are invited to the live broadcast. Please join Laura and the Salt Lake progressive community on both Saturday and Sunday at The City Library at 210 East 400 Street South in SLC from 5:00 to 8:00pm. Click here for directions. We'd love to see you there!
Broadcast each Saturday and Sunday from 7:00 to 10:00pm EST on the Air America Radio Network, and available for listening online, RadioNation also produces a one-hour version, which is provided free to noncommercial community and college stations.
