October 10, 2008 Election Day is less than four weeks away. Across the country there are reports of people fighting to ensure that in this election everyone who wants to vote can and all votes are counted accurately. It is a pitched battle particularly in 10 states that are in close contention. TrueVote.US is also taking action. Support our efforts. TrueVote.US has joined the No More Stolen Elections coalition. We are urging people to join this effort by signing the pledge at www.NoMoreStolenElections.org. The pledge is to promise to join us in united action if election theft occurs in 2008. We believe that an informed and energetic population can prevent election theft. The pledge states: "I remember Florida 2000 and Ohio 2004, and I am willing to take action in 2008 if the election is stolen again. I support efforts to protect the right to vote leading up to and on Election Day, November 4th. I pledge to join nationwide pro-democracy protests starting on November 5th, either in my community, in key states where fraud occurred, or in Washington D.C.. I pledge: No More Stolen Elections!" Sign it by clicking here. We are serious about not just change but democratic change. Therefore, we must be serious about assuring that the 2008 presidential election is neither gamed nor stolen. We must act against:
