Let's Keep The Progressive Heat On In 2009 and 2010

We recognize that the change we will GET from our new Congress still
is only as progressive as we keep the pressure on to force their
hands. And the best and most effective pressure we can apply is to
continue to support more progressive alternatives to even the
so-called liberal members we have now, to continue work for upgrade
in all positions.

That is why we must all START running for the 2010 congressional
seats NOW. And in particular, to keep the heat on still House Speaker
Nancy Pelosi, who failed us so dismally on the doomed bankers'
bailout, which all now recognize was just the mass looting of our
treasury so Wall Street would not have to sacrifice their bonuses and
dividends, Cindy Sheehan wants to stay in high gear as your advocate
so there will always be a meaningful challenge for the seat at the
top.

We are told Cindy is putting together her own radio show in San
Francisco on the Air America station there, and doing everything else
to keep the voices for real change heard in every other possible you.
You can help by making any donation of any amount to her new
committee, Cindy for Congress 2010. Because we can't wait for another
year and a half to build the base and community recognition we will
need then.

And this is also a shout out to you, if you have the same courage as
Cindy to take a run at a House seat in your district, and especially
if you have the moxie for a primary challenge. Let us throw down the
challenge now. Let us put all incumbents on notice that they better
not fail us again, or we will have viable alternatives ready to go
with organizations in place.

organizing in the next year and a half, let that person be the
challenging candidate.
